  • Social media is the highway, and your website is your storefront. You can engage your audience on socials and direct them to your website.

    Your website is your storefront because it is the most comprehensive showcase of your work and brand. You can use your website to make it easy for your audience to get to know you and buy your books, courses, and products.

    You can also use your website for tasks you simply can’t do on social media. For example, you can use your website to put products such as books, courses, and services up for sale.

    Also, SEO (search engine optimization or when your clients find you through Google search) is 300x as effective as social media in getting clients to purchase your product or service. There’s no way to take advantage of SEO without a good website filled with SEO content so Google knows to send traffic to your website.

  • A custom website can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the style and features.

  • We use Squarespace 7.1 because Squarespace makes it easy to design and maintain excellent websites.

  • Yes! One of the reasons we highly recommend Squarespace is that they’re always one step ahead of the game. Squarespace knows mobile is essential, so all Squarespace websites are mobile-responsive.

  • There’s a monthly Squarespace hosting fee of $20-$30 and an annual domain fee of about $10-20. So you can expect annual costs to be approximately $300-$400, in addition to the website build cost.

  • We understand that investing in your website is significant, so we offer two payment options.

    First, you can pay in two installments – first, to secure your date in our calendar, and the second, when you receive the first draft of the website.

    You can also pay monthly for 12 months starting with the month we begin your work.

  • We accept payment via Stripe, making it convenient and secure for you to pay via credit card.

  • Yes! We can work with you to incorporate logo and brand design into your custom package.

  • Yes! We can set up blog posts and pages for podcast episodes.

  • Item descriptioYes! This is a bit more complex, so it will be more expensive than an average website. n

  • Yes, we have a happiness guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with our work, we won’t transfer the work, and you will receive a 50% refund.

  • First, you’ll have to tell us what you want! The more specifics, the better. You can send us any images, text, or websites that appeal to you. We will also discuss your business goals and website strategy. This usually takes 1-2 hours.

    Next, we will send you a list of content inputs we will need from you. This includes any text, photos, images, links, social media handles, etc., that you want on your website. This is usually the most challenging and takes about 5-10 hours.

    We will then send you a website mock-up. You will then need to review, edit, and sign off on our mock-up. We’ll build the website based on this mock-up, so we need this mock-up to be as precise as it can be. This usually takes 1-2 hours.

    Finally, once you receive the built website, we’ll need your edits to finalize the website. This usually takes 1-2 hours.

    You can expect to commit about 10-20 hours to this endeavor.

  • Yes! See our copywriting packages.

  • Powerhouse Strategy is based in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. However, we serve clients worldwide thanks to Internet tools such as Zoom.

  • Yes! We will redo and update your current website and move it to Squarespace.

  • We can build on Wix, but we don’t build on WordPress or Showit. We think WordPress and Showit are too complicated for you to maintain. Email us at hello@powerhouse-strategy.com if you want referrals for WordPress or Showit designers.

  • Yes, you will be able to maintain the website. However, many of our clients find that maintaining their websites is not the best use of their time, so we offer care and maintenance plans here.

  • Yes, we provide monthly or as-needed support. Read more about our care and maintenance plans here.

  • We work with all industries and people! However, we especially love working with writers, authors, speakers, podcasters, coaches, consultants, course creators, and other creative and media entrepreneurs.

  • Let’s talk! We have limited spots available; clients also usually need at least 1-2 months to get their copy, graphics, and photos ready for us to work with.

  • No, we don’t provide photos, but we would be happy to refer you to our favorite brand photographers! So reach out to us at hello@powerhouse-strategy.com if you want referrals.

  • We sure can! We’ll connect your existing domain to the new website when we're done

  • Rebuilding websites is essentially the same work as building a new website, so we don’t offer discounts for re-builds. However, reach out if you want us to fix up 1 or 2 pages of your existing Squarespace website, and we will develop custom pricing.
